Travel Trailer Information

If you've succumbed to the lure of the open road, a travel trailer will enhance your trip by letting you take along all the amenities of home. With so many styles to choose from, you can get a travel trailer suited to your specific needs. You can choose a conventional travel trailer, hybrid travel trailer, toy hauler or tear drop trailer - all for sale new and used from RV dealers.

Let's start with the basics. All travel trailers connect to the tow vehicle via a frame or bumper hitch. All but the smallest types come equipped with sleeping areas to accommodate up to eight people, a kitchen, a living area, and a bathroom. Because no interior space is required for a driver's cab, travel trailers boast the widest variety of floor plans. You can choose from literally dozens of interior configurations.

A conventional travel trailer generally runs from 12 to 35 feet in length. It has four aluminum sides and often an awning that runs the entire length of the doorway side.
